Support 4 Women

Support for health professionals

Health professionals, volunteers and anyone else who supports women during pregnancy and the early months of motherhood can make maximum use of our experience in the sometimes “uncomfortable” subject of underwear.

Uncomfortable in terms of the health problems badly fitting bras can create during pregnancy and breastfeeding …  but also in terms of the embarrassment women often feel when dealing with misguided or unsympathetic shop assistants.

We aim to help you to help your patients, friends, contacts etc to tackle this issue. Like us, I’m sure you want them to get bras and other underwear/swimwear which supports them and adds to their health and well-being.

We can do this by providing you with:

Free telephone and online advice  (for you or your patients/friends/contacts)

Copies of our informative and friendly leaflets about bra fitting

A place on one of our bra fitting awareness courses for health professionals and volunteers. These practical workshops are accredited by the Royal College of Midwives and being held throughout the UK in the coming months.

Articles and product updates posted on this website, in our news section.

“Armed with information from a trained and friendly bra fitter I am now better able to help my patients see why the right bra is so important during pregnancy. This could well save them from long-lasting discomfort.” Kerry, Midwife, Skelmersdale
